Legacy Gift
You can make a lasting impact on our community by including the Friends of the Tempe Public Library in your estate plans. Your gift will ensure that the resources you have enjoyed at the Library will live on for generations. Name the Friends as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or will, or talk with your financial planner about a Charitable Trust donation.
Volunteer
While providing financial support for the Library is a critical part of what we do, Friends can also donate their time and energy to many volunteer projects. For example, you can help organize and staff our special events, sort and stock books for resale, or sell books to customers. For more information about current volunteer opportunities, call 480-350-5490.
Vicki Linoff, the Friends of the Tempe Public Library Bookstore Manager and Gerald Jensen, Friends of the Tempe Public Library Board member as well as Veterans History Project volunteer interviewer, put together a weekly donation to the Phoenix VA Hospital Library and The Arizona Veterans Home. To date, over 200 overstock books have been donated to our veterans by the Friends of the Tempe Public Library.
